National Television Show Looking For Plastic Surgery Enthusiasts Age 18-28

A national television program has asked me to help them locate anyone age 18-28 who is obsessed with plastic surgery and has multiple procedures at this young age. They produce a docu-style program which explores the double-life that some people lead. According to the producers:

We will treat your story with the utmost sensitivity, compassion, dignity and respect... We want to explore how you cope and how you untangle the web of your double life. With the help of a qualified, highly-credentialed, on-camera therapist, our hope is for you to jump start a dialogue about the issues you confront on a daily basis. Family members or friends may take part in your transformation.
If you are interested in sharing your story and you fit the above description, email me at miplasticsurgeon@yahoo.com and I will forward your info along to the producers.

Do You Want to Be on TV?

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a whirlwind past couple days. Tuesday afternoon I flew to L.A. to film a television pilot, returning Wednesday evening. I've been in surgery all day today, so I just haven't had time to post anything!

Speaking of TV, I was contacted by the producer of a well-known television program that is looking for people who lighten their skin to look "better." The title of the segment is "Bleaching for Beauty" and they want to find people who believe they are more attractive after using skin lightening creams. If this applies to you, email your information to me at: miplasticsurgeon@yahoo.com. I will forward your information to the producer.

If you have an interesting plastic surgery-related story and would like to be featured on television, feel free to email me. I often get calls from producers who are looking for an interesting story to tell. Who knows, maybe you can get a free trip to New York out of it!

Thanks for reading.

The Beauty Enhancement Awards

Make Me Heal.com has announced the first ever plastic surgery and anti-aging awards show. Men and women of all ages can apply to compete in various categories, including best makeover, best breast augmentation, best facelift, best plastic surgeon, and best celebrity look alike, among others. Anybody can apply, and various awards will be given. They have asked me to be one of several prominent plastic surgeon judges.
The Beauty Enhancement Awards will be televised on national television, as well as on the web. Winners will receive a combination of products and other services, in addition to significant media attention and interviews. Proceeds from the Beauty Enhancement Awards benefit various charitable causes such as breast cancer research and people with congenital defects. Click here for more details.

This sounds much more tasteful than that horrid "the Swan" show from a couple years ago...

Would you like to be on TV?

If any of my readers has an interesting plastic surgery story they think would make for good television, email me at miplasticsurgeon@yahoo.com. You must be willing to appear on live television to tell your story to a national audience. Some examples include: plastic surgery addiction, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or even feel-good stories about how plastic surgery has changed your life. I often get inquiries from national media looking for people who'd be interested in sharing their stories.
