Cosmetic procedures up 44 percent over 2003The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) has released its plastic surgery statistics for 2004 which shows an upward trend in both surgical (17 percent increase) and non-surgical procedures (51 percent increase) in the U.S. Nationwide, the ASAPS reports nearly 11.9 million procedures were performed in 2004.
